Profoundly Outspoken. Writer. Social Activist. Provocateur.
“There is no such thing as a “few bad apples”, when the root, branch, and fruit of that tree all bear the same weight…”
- Chantal Senya, (2022)
Hello!! Welcome to my blog!!
My name is Chantal Senya. I’m a 24-year-old Black-British, half Ghanaian & Nigerian babe, a Capricorn (for my curious astrology folk), and I’m a writer and anti-racist social activist who thoroughly enjoys provoking thought, conversation, and (importantly) racists.
After completing a degree in Politics and International Relations, I found that the structures of power, autonomy, freedom, are not limited to the corridors of power. Even so, where society seems to evolve at the cost of marginalised communities, I like to call-out the trends, individuals, and institutions I believe, are responsible for and must be reminded of their harm and impact.
My blog features all of my written pieces, which I like to call ‘social commentary’, and it will continue to grow. I hope you enjoy it, and if not - I’ve provoked you to some degree so…I’m happy.
The miseducation of privileged isn’t insular, it can’t be attributed to a single act, because like stones skating across water, the ripple of consequences grow. Rewarding the (continual) misdemeanour of socio-political inequalities and brutality against Black People, Women, Disabled People, LGBTQ+ People, the working class, and people of the global majority.
